A quilted jacket is a great piece for layering. It’s lightweight and structured, yet flexible enough to let you run all your errands with ease. It may remind you of a duvet, but that’s a positive in our minds because a duvet reminds us of our comfy, comfy beds.
This season, we saw a different style for the quilted jacket that confounded our TikTok audience. The jacket in question is from The Frankie Shop, and it’s structured as a cape/jacket hybrid.
On one hand, there’s the classic structured jacket, which most people are familiar with as we already know it’s going to be form-flattering.
On the other hand, this loose cape/jacket hybrid might be a great choice for early Fall, when starting the day in a jacket is great, but by afternoon, we either need to lose the top layer or be wearing one that allows us to breathe.
We guess it just depends on the person.
One user said, “it depends on the style and physical structure of the person. For taller angular people with minimalist style – great. Smaller feminine women – nope”. Do you prefer the loose version of the quilted jacket or the structured one?
