Now that the Fall season is underway, we’re putting our sandals and sneakers into storage and taking out our boots for the next few months. It’s time to hide away our pedicures and show off our full-coverage footwear. Gone are the days where we can leave our feet exposed to the elements. Don’t worry – you won’t be sacrificing style with our suggestions for late Fall footwear.
Ankle boots: Keep it casual with a low stiletto heel, or a barely-there block heel. Run your errands in comfort and style. Switch it up by stepping outside of your color comfort zone.
A brown or colored ankle one really makes a statement.
Cowboy: Giddy up, ladies. Cowboy boots have moved from the country to city street-style. Pair your cowboy boots with a dress and leather jacket.
Lug Sole Boot: Stomp out on the street in a lug-sole boot. You can also pair with jeans and a puffer jacket or a shacket to copy the “off-duty model” look.
Knee-High: Pair your knee-highs with a sweater dress and add structure with a blazer.
This year’s spin on this staple includes snakeskin patterns, all-white ones, or a vinyl/latex look.
Combat Boots: What screams fall than chunky combat boots.
